Biscuit to the Rescue
When the Human isn't home, Biscuit the Corgi likes to watch TV. T’was another ordinary afternoon for Biscuit. He pressed his paw repeatedly on the remote to find something to watch, but all that seemed to be on were shows about dogs with interesting lives.
Spot the Firefighting Dalmatian saved a kid from a blazing fire. Lassie the sheepherder protects livestock. Meanwhile, here’s Biscuit, whining about how boring his life his, until…
WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO.
Biscuit runs out the doggy door to investigate the sound. A police car is parked at the house across the street. A German Shepard pins down a bad guy while a cop puts him in cuffs.
“Wow! I wish I could be a hero like you!” Biscuit squeaks.
“You can! Here, catch!” barks the German Shepard. She throws him a blue T-shirt that says: “K9 Rescue Unit”.
Later, Biscuit’s human is home, making dinner. Human gets careless and forgets about food that was cooking on the stove. Biscuit smells burning and barks.
“Thanks Biscuit,” says Human, “You’re my hero!”
